Hi Dave, thank you, and all the team at ‘Ride 4 Life’ for what was a most enjoyable experience. If it was not for the advice, guidance and encouragement imparted by you and your team I would never have passed both the Mod 1 & Mod 2 tests at all, let alone on the first attempt. My whole direct access course was tailored to me, taken at a pace that I was comfortable with and in a safe manner. Higgi, Rod, Mel, Ian and Aussie Dave thank you for all your input and nuggets of wisdom. I will take your advice on board and continue to learn the art of biking. I have the utmost respect for you all, but I have to say a special thank to Paul, as my primary instructor he gave me not only the knowledge and training to pass but also the confidence and belief in myself to succeed. Since getting my licence the wife has had a try out on the 125 and will be ready to take her CBT in the near future and there is only one place that she will be taken it with ‘Ride 4 Life’ in my opinion the best around. Good luck to all your past, present and future pupils and may you continue to achieve excellent results. All the best and keep in touch. Big John

I would just like to say thanks to Dave and all the instructors for getting me through my CBT, Mod 1& Mod 2 tests first time. They are a great bunch of lads, very professional and I would recommend Ride 4 Life to anybody who is thinking of taking up biking, thanks again. PS... Not bad bacon butties neither!

I first contacted Ride 4 Life when the school that got me through my CBT never returned my calls when I wanted to go for my Mod 1 & Mod 2 tests.
The guys at Ride 4 Life are the dogs dangly bits! Dave and Paul a big thank you who both took me for my training. These guys are top instructors who teach a level suited to you. They soon beat out all my bad habits form riding my 125 and got me through module 1 and module 2 on a clean sheet! Need I say I was chuffed to bits.
If you’re thinking of getting your test sorted or CBT use Dave and his team. They will train you to ride safe, not just to pass your test using bikes and equipment that wont break down or you have to wait your turn. A bonus is the top-notch bacon sandwiches and the coffee that’s always on the go!
Believe me I have used other schools and Ride 4 Life have been the best. You know your on to a winner when Dave says, “you’ve got no problems your riding like a demon”.

I would like to thank you all, especially Paul, for teaching me so much. I could hardly ride the 500 in a straight line when I first started. The mod 1 training really prepared me well for the actual test. The training for the mod 2 was great, getting to ride around for a couple of hours makes you feel like a real biker, but the advice & instruction you receive turns you into a safe rider. The preparation for the mod 2 was excellent & I felt confident & able when I went for my test passing first time with a clean sheet. I would recommend ride 4 life to anyone. I’ve enjoyed every minute of my training & look forward to dropping in to see you all on my own motorbike. x

Ride 4 life has provided me with not only the very best training but also a fantastic service, from the CBT to Module 1 and Module 2. Been forty years old and having never ridden a bike before I would not have believed it possible.
At first it was all about not having L-plates on my lambretta. How glad I am I picked ride 4 life. The training I have been given not only got me through the test it's also probably saved my life a few times! Great set of lads and not to hard on us scooter boys! Cheers.
Many thanks again to all the team.Katie Speed
I would recommend ride 4 life to absolutely anyone and everyone, whether you have riding experience or not. When i started i had never ridden a bike before and i passed within a month. All the instructors were extremely friendly and welcoming making me feel at ease straight away, making learing to ride very exiting and enjoyable.
There are two parts to the motorbike test, module 1 and module 2. Module 1 is the section where you have to ride around cones and show that you can control the bike. This seemed quite daunting at first but when the instructor had explained it its not so bad. We went through it bit by bit and had lots of practice until I felt confident. The training ground is a fair bit smaller that the actual test centre and so if you can do it in training you can definately do it no problems on the day. Module 2 is the road ride. This is the fun part! Lots of riding around the city and countryside means you are well prepared for life on the road. You are in constant radio contact with the instructors who are very understanding and don't push you to do anything that you don't feel ready for. The actual test is much easier (silly as it sounds!) than the lessons and I passed Module 1 and Module 2 first time. Making the decision to train with ride 4 life was the best thing I ever did.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to both Dave's for an excellent day ! I found it extremely informative and great fun.
As I had never ridden a bike before that day I was pretty nervous but really wanted to be able to ride confidently and safely. Having read the testimonials on your web site I felt reassured that I would be able to achieve that, and I wasn't disappointed!
The same day that I completed my CBT my little Yamaha Vity arrived and I have completed many successful journeys up and down the A19 in all weathers! With Dave Cuddys instructions about the hazards ahead in my mind!!
I have told my friends and family what a good day I had and about everything I learnt that day, I will continue to recommend Ride-4-Life not just as a riding school but as a great day out learning something knew.
Many thanks Jenny Kenny (or as Dave Cuddy called me all day 'Hot Lips'!!!)

“Being totally new to Bikes, I have been extremely impressed with the training expertise on offer by the Ride 4 Life team. By mid-afternoon on my first day, I had my CBT under my belt, and with encouragement, later that same afternoon, on a 500cc Bike driving down the roads with a big grin on my face. I thought taking my test 3 days later would be too soon, but by the end of the 2 nd day of training, I felt comfortable and confident on the bike, whilst the Ride 4 Llife team worked on my weaker areas. By test time on the third day, I felt confident that I had the skills and that it was down to me. The test went by in a blur, everything clicked as the team said it would, and a happy licensed Biker was the result, bring on the Hot tub!”

I am very happy to have passed my CBT today and look forward to the DAS
very soon. I just want to thank Ride-4-Life aka Dave Cuddy for his top
quality school of riding (and also great bacon and egg butty making
skills or was that his missus?) and especially Dave Robinson for his
total dedication and excellent intuitive ability to make me able to ride
confidently and safely on the road whilst I was bricking it. He spent
so much time on me and was so patient it was fantastic. I learned more
from him in a few hours about motorcycle safety than in my 12 years of
driving a car. I reckon all car drivers should have to learn motorcycle
safely in this way - it makes so much sense since we share the same
road. Not forgetting Andy Dawson for his top quality road tuition
regarding equipment and road safely and also his top quality puns! I
would like to say to any nervous wannabe biker who might be thinking of
learning to ride that they should not hesitate to call you guys straight away. I felt completely safe and totally confident that I was in safe
hands all the way through. For the amount of time spent on me it was a
complete bargain of a course. Shit. That sounds like an award
speech. Now to get to grips with my NSR125 ....
Cheers!

Just wanted to thank you and all your instructors for getting me through my DAS course. From Andy and Rod at CBT level through to Nick, Paul and "Big Rich" for the DAS training, everyone was extremely helpful, thorough and professional (even Big Rich!!!). I felt confident throughout the course and I salied through the DAS test first time with only 2 minors, which can only show how well prepared I was and it's a superb reflection on Ride-4Life. The equipment is all top class and the bacon butties and cups of tea were superb! Many many thanks and you'll be seeing me in the future for advanced training and pillian training!

I must write to thank you all for such a fantastic service you gave me recently (Sunday 17 th Aug – Wed 20 th Aug).
I know most people only write to complain and too few actually write to say thanks but I felt the attention your instructors gave is worthy of an email.
I was put at ease straight away and any problems I had were soon eliminate, especially the dreaded U-Turn – many thanks to Rich here, he spent time explaining and demonstration the skills required. A credit to your school.
By passing my DAS (1 st Time) with only 2 minors reflects how good you and your staff are at teaching and listening to your students. I have already recommended you to my friends.
I now look forward to many years on two wheels. I am just sorry I have left it so late in life (40 years) to take up motorcycling, just think of all those years I've missed out.
Again I can not thank you enough for getting me through my test.
Kind regards
Ian Lawrenson .

Dave, I thought I would just send you this email to thank you for helping me pass my bike test. As you know it was the second time around and without you and your instructors professionalism and expert knowledge I would not have been able to reach my goal.
I was really impressed with how relaxed and comfortable everyone made me feel. I will definitely be recommending you to my friends and colleagues.
Once again thank you and all the best for the future.

Just a quick note to thank you and your team for putting up with me and getting me through the CBT and the DAS.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with you and your team in getting me through the DAS. Without exception, all of your team are a real credit to you. The way they conduct themselves, interact with all the trainees and their knowledge of how to ride a motorbike safely certainly made me realise how much time and effort is required to deliver such a service - it certainly impressed me.
Please pass on my thanks to Dave and Andy for the CBT and Higgi, Paul and of course yourself for the DAS - not forgetting Linda for the tea/coffee and bacon sandwiches.
I will certainly recommend you to anybody I speak to regarding any form of motorcycle training.
I will be in touch in due course to discuss how I can improve my riding in the coming months once I have had some time to ride y own bike.
