All our instructors are certified by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and all have many years experience in delivering motorcycle instruction so you can rest assured you will be in safe hands.

NEW BIKE TEST SPECS CONFIRMED FOR JANUARY 2013 .

If you are aged 21 years and wish to do the current DAS Scheme, which will allow you to ride any CC motorcycle once you have passed your test, you only have the next 12 months (throughout 2012) before the test criteria changes. Once we hit January 2013 the age limit for the DAS course will be raised to 24 years old.

If you are 21, 22 and 23 years old you will need to complete your test in 2012 to beat the deadline before the age limit is increased to 24 years old.

Test must be passed before 31st December 2012 if you would like or are required to ride the larger capacity bikes.

Anyone passing an AM test will also be given a new domestic category Q licence to cover them for riding machines below 25kph

2 Wheeled vehicle.

Not exceeding 50cc

Speed not more than 45kph (28mph)

A1

Up to 125cc/11kw (15bhp) power to weight ratio not exceeding 0.1kW/kg.

(Minimum 17 years old).
Motorcycle with a cubic capacity of at least 115cc capable of at least 90kph (56mph).
A2 Motorcycle of a power not exceeding 35kW (47bhp) and with a power/weight ratio not exceeding 0.2 kW/kg and not derived from a vehicle more than double its power. (Minimum 19 years old).

Motorcycle without sidecar, with a cylinder capacity of a least 395cc and an engine power of at least 25kW (34bhp).

Upper power limit is capped by licence restriction at 35kW (47bhp).
A Any size motorcycle with or without sidecar (minimum 24 years old, unless upgraded from full A2 licence, with minimum 2 years experience). Motorcycle without a sidecar with a cylinder capacity of at least 595cc, and an engine power of at least 40kW (54bhp).
